If you’re a fan of spicy foods, Buffalo-flavored dishes are likely at the top of your list. Buffalo sauce is a type of hot sauce, except it's a little different than the standard hot sauce because it's usually creamier with a richer flavor. This is because some Buffalo sauces contain melted butter, while other times, you mix in melted butter when you cook with them. Frank’s Hot Sauce is one of the most famous Buffalo brands. It contains flavors of cayenne red peppers, paprika, garlic, butter, and vinegar (via McCormick).
There are a few other ingredients, but the primary flavor is the spicy cayenne. For some reason, nothing tastes as good with Buffalo as chicken does. We don't have a problem with that, though. In fact, it's how we prefer it! All of these dishes contain Buffalo chicken in delicious ways. We have yummy appetizers such as Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels and Wonton Crisps. Then, there are full-on dinners such as the Buffalo Chicken Lasagna and the Buffalo Chicken Potato Bake. Browse these recipes and choose which one to use next time you have a spicy craving!
