  • 1 cup (80g) Oat Flour
  • 1 cup (120g) All-Purpose Wheat Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon light Butter
  • Stevia (or your preferred sweetener) to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a donut baking pan. Ensure it's well greased to prevent sticking.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix the oat flour, all-purpose wheat flour, and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the grated apples, egg, water, apple cider vinegar, and melted butter. Mix well. Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding Stevia or your preferred sweetener.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter. Be careful not to overmix; just combine until the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Spoon the batter into the greased donut baking pan, filling each donut mold about two-thirds full.
  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the baked apple donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, you can top the cooled donuts with a light dusting of cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, or a dollop of Greek yogurt for added flavor.
