If you own a Ninja blender, you likely already know how versatile the company’s appliances are. Most people would probably think that you can only make things like smoothies with a blender, but since Ninja equipment is so high-tech, you can do so much more. Especially with options like the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender, you can put hefty foods inside and have it create hot soups or sauces for you in no time. Other blender varieties include the Ninja Professional Blender, Ninja Foodi Power Blender, and Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro, which are all countertop appliances.

The company also has immersion blenders available, as well as portable blenders like the Ninja Blast Portable Blender. If you want to stick to the traditional type of recipes for your Ninja blender, we recommend trying out the Green Smoothie or the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie on this list. Meanwhile, if you want to experiment, options like the Chunky Salsa or Homemade Ranch Dressing are good places to start. Of course, since this roundup has a wide range of different recipe types, there’s no need to limit yourself to trying just one. Every recipe is unique and flavor-packed in its own way!

1. Blueberry Power Smoothie

This healthy blueberry smoothie has a wonderful blend of flavors. Of course, frozen blueberries make up the base, but it also has oat milk, plain Greek yogurt, baby spinach, and more. The apple pieces give it a pleasant tart and sweet undertone that perfectly pairs with the other berries. Although this recipe is designed for the Ninja Detect Duo Power Blender Pro, you can use it with any Ninja blender you have!

2. Carrot and Lentil Soup

This has to be the easiest soup ever! All you need is onions, carrots, red lentils, and vegetable stock. The soup comes out a vibrant orange color that’s perfect for fall, but of course, it tastes good any time of year! We suggest you serve this as an appetizer or a side to a bigger entrée if you prefer something heartier for dinner. However, it is the perfect option for a light lunch!

3. Chunky Salsa

The Ninja Test Kitchen provided this tasty recipe for Chunky Salsa, and we can’t get enough of it! Delight your taste buds with fresh Roma tomato, cilantro, yellow peppers, jalapeno peppers, and red onions. This recipe also has garlic, lime juice, and other seasonings that amplify the natural flavor of the vegetables and other ingredients. The recipe makes ten servings, and it only takes 5 minutes to make, so what are you waiting for?

4. Green Smoothie

Make a nutritious and vibrant green smoothie with the help of this easy recipe. All you need is almond milk, bananas, mango chunks, and fresh spinach. The mango and banana give a lovely sweet flavor, plus the spinach has such a subtle taste that you can’t even discern it! For best results, use very cold almond milk rather than room temperature. You can also substitute it for whole milk or even oat milk if you wish!

5. PB and J Protein Shake

This unique protein shake recipe gives you a taste that’s reminiscent of a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The base of the shake is made with your milk of choice, frozen berries, peanut butter, and oats. It turns out the best when you use vanilla protein powder, but you can use another flavor if you want to experiment. Since this recipe is so simple, you can even use it in the Ninja Blast Cordless Blender!

6. Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Our recipe for a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie can be made in any blender, so if you just purchased a Ninja blender, give it a try! The simple recipe contains banana, 0% Greek yogurt, milk, and pumpkin puree. For flavoring, use sugar-free syrup to keep it healthy and a bit of pumpkin pie spice to bring all of the autumnal flavors together. This is a great recipe when you’re craving pumpkin pie but want to lean towards a more nutritious option.

7. Homemade Enchilada Sauce

Here’s a recipe for your Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender! Make a scrumptious, savory enchilada sauce for your next dinner with ingredients like fire-roasted tomatoes, chicken stock, onions, and plenty of seasoning. The dark chili powder, cumin, sea salt, and garlic give it depth, and the brown sugar adds a hint of sweetness to neutralize the apple cider vinegar. We recommend using this for more than just enchiladas, such as with burritos or in a nourish bowl!

8. Hummus (Super Simple Recipe in the Ninja Chef Blender)

Did you realize your Ninja blender can make perfect hummus? This recipe is super easy to make, and you only need a handful of ingredients. The hummus includes chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and cumin. Then, when you scoop it into a serving bowl, you can drizzle rich olive oil and sprinkle paprika on top for a gorgeous presentation! You can also switch it up and add red Peppers or other ingredients if you want a different flavor of hummus.

9. 3 Ingredient Chocolate Frosty (Blender Recipe)

Use your ninja blender to make a chocolate frosty that is just as delicious as if you buy it from your favorite restaurant. Although this recipe is surely a dessert, with simple modifications, you can make it healthier. For example, instead of regular chocolate syrup, we recommend using sugar-free chocolate syrup. The recipe also notes how you can use whole milk rather than heavy whipping cream if you wish!

10. Creamy Avocado Salsa

Whether you have a cordless Ninja blender or another type, you can make this delicious avocado salsa for your meals or just as a flavorful snack! The salsa has mayonnaise, sour cream, cilantro, jalapenos, and avocado. Additionally, a small amount of lime juice, milk, and seasonings balance out the flavors. We suggest using light mayonnaise and swapping the sour cream for 0% Greek yogurt! After all, Healthline states that Greek yogurt is lower in both fat and calories.

11. Homemade Cream Style Corn in the Hot Cold Blender

Next time you are in the mood for soup, try out this recipe by The Salted Pepper. This recipe was designed with the Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender in mind! It has butter, flour, corn, water, and sea salt. Rather than using sugar, you can swap it for a tiny amount of honey just to add some natural sweetness that counteracts the black pepper in the soup. We suggest serving this with a nice salad or biscuits!

12. Chocolate Protein Shake

You won’t believe how easy it is to make this decadent Chocolate Protein Shake recipe by the Ninja Test Kitchen! It has vanilla protein yogurt, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and bananas. Use your milk of choice, which helps thin it out and blend more efficiently. The great news is that you can use any Ninja blender that you have for this recipe. Even the cordless blender works wonderfully!

13. Homemade Ranch Dressing

Making your own ranch dressing is simple and much healthier than the store-bought versions that contain preservatives. This recipe comes together in 10 short minutes. It has your milk of choice, lemon juice, chives and parsley, garlic, and olive oil. In terms of seasonings, use paprika and salt. We suggest you use light mayo and sour cream if possible because it doesn’t affect the quality at all. In fact, it makes it not so heavy!

14. Apple, Pineapple, and Celery Juice

The Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender allows you to make nutrient-rich juice! This recipe combines green apples, pineapple, and celery for a bright, sweet, and sour flavor. It only takes a couple of minutes to make it. We suggest you enjoy this fresh juice alongside your breakfast in the morning to have a healthy start to your day. Or, pair it with an afternoon snack; it’s delicious either way!

15. Peach Apple Butter

Our recipe for peach apple butter is incredibly divine, with fresh peaches, apples, cinnamon, allspice, brown sugar, and more. The first portion of the recipe requires you to cook the mixture down in the Crockpot, but after that, you can transfer it to your Ninja blender to finish it off! Use this yummy spread on toast, french toast, or even on your favorite cheese and charcuterie board. It tastes lovely with savory recipes because of the sweet and savory harmony.

16. Creamy Chicken Enchilada Soup – Cold & Hot Blender

Here’s another soup recipe for you to try in the Ninja Cold & Hot blender! This soup has subtle hints of spiciness thanks to the enchilada sauce and jalapeno peppers (however, it’s also creamy too). Additionally, it has chicken stock, chicken breast, cilantro, spices, and onions. You have plenty of room to get creative when you serve the soup, whether you want to add more jalapeno pieces or sprinkle on some reduced-fat shredded cheese!

17. Clean-Eating Cranberry Orange Banana Smoothie

We love this luscious smoothie recipe by Hot Beauty Health! All you need is frozen cranberries, low-fat Greek vanilla yogurt, almond milk, bananas, and oranges. Plus, it’s a good idea to throw in ice cubes for textural purposes and to ensure the smoothie is plenty cold. The cranberries are surely puckery, but the creamy yogurt counterbalances it. This recipe only makes one smoothie, but you can always double it to make more if your Ninja blender is big enough!

18. Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender Eggnog

Who said eggnog can’t be enjoyed any time of year? This heavenly recipe has five eggs, sugar, half-and-half, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and spices. To make it healthier and lighter, you can always use milk; it will just be a little thinner in consistency. Furthermore, maple syrup can be substituted for sugar to create a pleasant sweet taste. Serve the eggnog with cinnamon sticks for a charming presentation!

19. Easy 30-Minute Homemade Tortilla Soup in the Ninja Foodi Hot Cold Blender

Here is another soup recipe to try out. It contains three main components: the soup base, the seasoning mix, and the garnishes. When you take a bite of this soup, your taste buds are met with juicy corn kernels, fire-roasted tomatoes, chicken breast pieces, and jalapenos. Moreover, the seasoning mix has cumin, chipotle, sea salt, and smoked paprika to create multiple layers of flavor. Garnish it with tortilla chips or other fresh toppings!

20. Vanilla Nut Protein Shake made with the Nutri Ninja

This simple protein shake blends into perfection in just a few short minutes. It has a nutty flavor, thanks to the almond milk and walnuts. Meanwhile, the vanilla yogurt, extract, and flavored almond milk complement the earthy walnuts. The drink provides your body with plenty of protein and satisfies your sweet tooth, so it’s a win-win situation! The only downfall is that if you make it in the Nutri Ninja, you can only make one at a time.

21. Carrot Cake Muffins

We use our Ninja blender to shred the carrots for these carrot cake muffins! Genius, right? This saves a ton of time for people who don’t want to use a cheese grater (or don’t have a traditional food processor). When you make this recipe, you mix all of the ingredients in a bowl first, then add the shredded carrots last. The muffins have apple sauce, walnuts, vanilla, brown sugar, flour, and other simple baking ingredients.

22. Ninja Foodi Blender Tomato Soup with Basil

Lastly, here is an effortless meal that you can make for your family if you have a Ninja blender that has a heat function. If yours doesn’t heat up, Healthy Meals Fast explains that you can simply blend the components in any blender before you transfer it to a cooking pot. This soup has tomatoes, vegetable broth, garlic powder, celery salt, and more! The butter and heavy cream give it a creamy, elegant essence you won’t want to miss out on!
