There are many different Asian cuisines to choose from when looking for international recipes using pork! There’s Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, and more. Each one of these cultures has unique and delicious dishes and I couldn’t choose just one. That’s why we put together this list of 25 Asian Pork Recipes with ideas from each culture. If you love restaurant quality meals at home this is the list for you! 

Filipino cuisine is one of my favorites because I was lucky to be introduced to it when I was young at a friend’s house. We have Asian Pork Recipes from the Philippines like Binagoongan Baboy, Filipino Grilled Pork Belly Barbecue, Pork Binagoongan, and more. After that we will explore Japanese pork dishes like Tonkatsu and Shogayaki! Next up are Korean cuisine recipes like bulgogi and Korean BBQ Pork. Last but not least you will see some Chinese Asian Pork Recipes like Sweet and Sour Pork! I even managed to find one authentic Vietnamese pork recipe for a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Grilled Pork!

Binagoongan Baboy is an excellent family meal to cook in under an hour using one pan. Featuring pork belly, shrimp paste, and chili peppers, and stewed in fresh tomatoes – it’s a Filipino dish that’s sure to please. So if you love hearty, boldly flavored, and classic recipes served up with steamed rice this is the one for you. For best results use pork belly for a thick cap of skin that cooks to melt-in-your-mouth tenderness!

3. BBQ Pork Spare Ribs (Filipino Style)

Celebrate summer with delicious Asian Pork Recipes like this Filipino Style BBQ Spare Ribs. It is simple and basic yet amazingly mouthwatering. You will need 1 kilo pork spareribs, 2  red chili pepper (siling labuyo), 6 pcs calamansi (juiced), 4 cloves garlic, minced, ¼ cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp ground black pepper, 3 tbsp soy sauce, salt, 2 cups water, for boiling, 2 tbsp cornstarch + cold water (slurry), spring onions, and (dahonng sibuyas sesame seed!

Filipino Grilled Pork Belly Barbecue (Inihaw na Liempo) never fails to impress your taste buds! In the Philippines they love barbecue very much. So much so that in every village, barrio, and street corner you will find a barbecue stand with a wide variety of meat including chicken feet! So when I tell you that Filipino Grilled Pork Belly Barbecue is excellent trust and believe it’s absolutely mouthwatering. 

5. Filipino Pork BBQ Skewers 

Filipino Pork BBQ skewers are sweet and tangy not to mention quick and easy. This Asian pork recipe can be prepped ahead of time by chopping the pork, mincing the garlic, and then measuring out the ingredients for the marinade. Marinate the pork and then pull it out when you’re ready to grill. The pork itself only needs 3-5 minutes on the grill. 

6. Pork Binagoongan

Pork Binagoongan is a Filipino dish that’s bold in flavor. It’s quick and easy and packed with flavors like umami and rich, savory shrimp paste sauce. When served with rice it’s a very budget friendly recipe too. Binagoongan is a popular Filipino method of cooking where the ingredients are cooked with “bagoong” also known as “alamang”) which is a condiment made of fermented fish or shrimp paste. 

7. Filipino Adobo 

Filipino Adobo is another popular cooking method in the Philippines. The meat is simmered in a mix of vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic. It is super delicious, tangy, and savory.
