You guys.. I think I hit the holy grail on this one.. and I am in ranch dressing heaven! I’m trying to take advantage of the new zero point foods where I can so it was on my list to make a ranch dressing with the now zero point non-fat yogurt, but I couldn’t wait and boy am I glad I didn’t. This ranch dressing is nothing short of AMAZING!! It might actually get me to eat vegetables (a big MIGHT!) You can use it as a dip, a dressing on salad or in recipes that call for ranch, the possibilities are endless with this one and I am excited to see what creations I can come up with using it. I know there are several ranch dressing out there so I wanted to make mine slightly different, I won’t lie, it has a pop of zest to it but I think you will all love it, and even more so that it is zero points on the WW.
0 Smart point ranch dressing
Ingredients
- 1 cup non fat plain greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp milk, I used 1%
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried chives
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dill weed
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl and serve.
- Store dressing in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
- *Note- I edited this to 1/4 tsp of paprika (it was originally 1/2) some complained of a little too zesty and a pink color, this should help
It was delicious! What I don’t understand is why people cant omit and add spices or other items on their own? Kind of eyeball and taste while your mixing. Of course you can add almond milk or leave out this and that?? Are the spices different then the ranch package…well look on the back of the package and compare? I mean people are nice enough to post their experiences…Google it!
Sorry but
thank you for posting the recipe!
Thanks Angela, some are very by the book I guess 😉 I play around with it too sometimes just to mix it up 🙂 glad you enjoyed it
Can you use fresh ingredients?
Possibly, it might not keep as well though
How long does this last if kept in a sealed container in the fridge?
Hi Kenzie, I have kept mine for a good 5 days in the fridge, it would probably last a bit longer, might just need a good stir, remember it’s yogurt so it won’t last as long as a store bought dressing would
Oh my goodness! Thank you for this recipe. It is fantastic. I used it with a zero sp salad of tuna, hard boiled eggs, chick peas, and cherry tomatoes. This dressing is super thick and tasty!
So glad you enjoyed it Lauren 🙂 Great alternative and I have been using it in some recipes too 🙂
Love the recipes Drizzel but cannot seam to download from my IPad. Try to move recipe to Safari (as I do with all downloads) but always end up with a blank page. Anyone else with this issue or any suggestions. Thanks
Hi Merryl, yeah sorry I think you need to be on a desktop to download or print
I will look into it though to see if I can change that
Love this – used it instead of mayo in tuna salad with some finely diced red pepper and celery – all in a lettuce wrap! Delish!
So glad you enjoy it Stacy 🙂
I’m so sorry, but this is awful. Way too much pepper and salt. A tsp of pepper is too much. That’s all I could taste. I dumped the whole bowl in the garbage.
Hi Tracy, thanks for your feedback, I can’t please everyone 😉 thankfully we all have different likes/dislikes
I just made this and OMG! It is amazing & delicious! Thank you for all you do to help fellow Weight Watchers!! ?❤️
So glad you enjoyed it Paula, and thank you for your kind words 🙂
I was skeptical about how this would taste but at zero points, I was willing to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! I tried just a little bit before I put it in the refrigerator for all of the flavors to blend together, and it was so good! I used half the amount of salt since I’m not a big salt person, but that is what is so great about this recipe is that it is customizable. Thank you for sharing it!
Hi Peggy, you are very welcome, yes you can totally make it suit you, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Can I use regular salt instead of sea salt?
If so what is the difference.
Regular salt will work out fine 🙂
Great recipe! Thank you! I used water instead of the milk. Now it is truly zero points. Perfect!
Ha, good call 🙂 glad you enjoy it
