They’re sure to become a new family favorite, and who knows, they might just inspire you to reignite your health journey along the way!

Three reasons why you need to make this recipe!

Who doesn’t love chicken tenders?

Regular chicken tenders most likely are too high in calories and points to fully enjoy while on Weight Watchers, unless you want to be left hungry. These parmesan chicken tenders give you everything you need – filling, low calorie, and high in protein.

They’re fantastic for meal prep.

You get four servings of four chicken tenders in just one batch. It’s perfect for packing work lunches for the rest of the week.

Parmesan Chicken Tenders are great for the family.

Want a family dinner you can fully enjoy with them while still staying on track with your weight loss goals? Everyone will love these chicken tenders, and they’re so easy to make!

Ingredients you need to make Parmesan Chicken Tenders:

  • 24 oz boneless skinless chicken breast (I used 4- 6oz breasts)
  • ½ cup panko crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Dash of salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 eggs

How to make Parmesan Chicken Tenders (step by step):

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Cut the chicken into strips. The size really depends on how big or small you like your strips. I wanted 4 servings so I did 16 strips to have 4 servings of 4 chicken strips.
  3. In a bowl or ziplock bag, mix together the panko, parmesan, garlic, salt,  pepper and Italian seasoning. Place the mixture on a flat surface like a plate, and then put the flour on a separate, similar flat surface. Whisk the 2 eggs together in a bowl.
  4. Roll the chicken pieces in flour, then dip in the egg, and then coat in the panko/cheese mixture.
  5. Place all the strips on a baking tray. I lined mine with parchment paper.  Bake it in the oven for approximately 25 minutes, turning it over a few times while cooking. Enjoy!

Different ways to change up this recipe:

  • Use seasoned panko crumbs if you want a quicker version!
  • You can also try using crushed protein chips like Quest chips instead of panko crumbs to lower the points even more.
  • Use my zero point ranch for a delicious (zero point!) dipping sauce.
  • You could cook these in an air fryer if you prefer that over an oven.

Tips and Tricks for Making Parmesan Chicken Tenders:

  • These parmesan chicken tenders will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. They do not freeze well. I suggest popping them in the air fryer to help them crisp up before eating any leftovers.

  1. This looks great, and I appreciate the recip , but when I entered it in the WW recipe builder, it came out to 3 freestyle SP per serving (panko: 6, Parmesan:4, garlic powder: 1, flour: 2. Everything else: 0) Still, a lot of tasty protein for only 3 points!

  2. Hi! I just bought an air fyer and this will be the first recipe I make in it. I saw you mentioned that these could be cooked in the air fyer, can you please tell me how long and at what temperature?

    1. Hi Melissa, I didn’t make them in the air fryer, but know they will work well, my guess would be 350F maybe 10-15 minutes, just check on them
