- 1 lb ground turkey
- ½ cup diced onion
- ½ cup diced green pepper
- 1 can manwich, 398ml *sloppy joe sauce
- 2 cups macaroni pasta *measured uncooked
- 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheese
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- In a frying pan cook the ground turkey over medium heat on the stove, set aside.
- Add pasta to a pot of boiling water and cook according to the package.
- In a large bowl mix together the cooked turkey, pasta, manwich sauce, onions and peppers. Pour out into a 9x13 casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the cheese on top and cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Recipe makes 6 servings, each serving is 1 heaping cup.
