Boom Chicka Pop has me in a chokehold. It’s so hard to believe that this sweet and salty kettle corn is less than 150 calories for two whole cups. You can buy a large bag from Costco and portion out individual zip lock bags if you prefer, or just buy the individual bags if you prefer something more convenient. 

2 cups is 5 WW points. 140 calories, 8 g fat, 18 g carbs, 1 g protein, 2 g fiber, 18 g sugar. 

Hard Boiled Eggs

Hard boiled eggs are a great option because they’re zero Weight Watchers points, and packed full of healthy fats and protein. Just a few will keep you full for a while. I love packing these in zip lock bags with salt and pepper, so they’re already seasoned – just ready to eat. And the best part is, most gas stations have these as an option. So even if you forget to pack some, you can stop and grab a package for the road. 

2 boiled eggs are 0 WW points. 155 calories, 11 g fat, 1 g carbs, 13 g protein, 0 g fiber, 0 g sugar, 124 mg sodium. 

Summer WW Snacks: Fresh Berries

I’m sure you’ve seen the tackle box snack boxes. If so, grab one because it’s perfect to fill with fresh berries. Summer is the perfect time to enjoy fresh fruit, and you can stuff the box with your favorites. It’s the perfect road trip snack because you can snack on fruit the whole way, and it’s still zero points! 

1 cup is 0 WW points. Calories: 65 kcal, Carbohydrates: 15 g, Protein: 1 g, Fat: 0 g, Sodium: 1.4 mg, Fiber: 5 g, Sugar: 8 g

Tillamook Zero Sugar Beef Jerky

Beef jerky is a given on road trips, but most brands fill theirs with sugar for lots of taste. Tillamook has come out with an incredible product – a zero sugar beef jerky. It’s soft, chewy, flavorful, and best of all, packed with protein. It’s a game changer snack for us Weight Watchers members. 

1 oz is 1 WW point. 90 calories, 1.5 g fat, 1 g carbs, 13 g protein, 0 g fiber, 0 g sugar, 600 mg sodium. 

Summer WW Snacks: Veggies + Babybel Mini Light Cheese

Again with the “snackle box” – chop some fresh veggies and add in a few Babybel mini light cheeses. It’s a great source of protein and goes perfectly with the crunch of the veggies. You could even pack in some individual packets of hummus to go along with this. 

2 cheese wheels are 4 WW points. 100 calories, 6 g fat, 0 g carbs, 10 g protein, 0 g fiber, 0 g sugar, 300 mg sodium.

Kodiak Cake Muffins with Sprinkles

Muffins are a great road trip snack if you’re heading out early in the morning. These Kodiak cake muffins keep things fun with the sprinkles, while also keeping the points low due to the Kodiak protein cake mix. One muffin is just two Weight Watchers points! You don’t need a high sugar, high carb muffins from Starbucks or the gas station when you can have these healthy ones. 

1 muffin is 2 WW points. 104 Calories, 2.6 g Fat, 15.7 g Carbs, 1.5 g Fiber, 7.4 g Sugar, 4.9 g Protein.

Summer WW Snacks:  Turkey Sausage Rolls

Another protein-packed idea is these turkey sausage rolls. They’re super easy to make ahead of time and can be eaten at room temp so they’re perfect for the car. Ensuring that some of your snacks are protein focused is important when trying to stick to your Weight Watchers points because it helps drive cravings away. 

1 roll is 3 WW points. Calories 69,  Fat 4 g, Saturated fat 1.7 g,  Carbs 5 g,  Fiber .4 g, Sugars .4 g, Sodium 59 mg, Protein 4 g.

Weight Watchers Sweet and Salty No-Bake Cookies

If you love sweet and salty snacks but want to stay on track with your daily allotment of points, these Weight Watchers No Bake Cookies are the perfect ones to try. Not only are these no-bake cookies easy to make ahead of time, they’re made with a combination of healthy ingredients. Quick oats are used to give you a good dose of energizing carbs and fiber. Honey adds sweetness, and you get some healthy fat from the peanut butter. The fun ingredient – pretzels – adds a salty crunch that pairs amazingly with the sugar-free caramel sauce. These are perfect bite-sized snacks for something fun on the road!

Since drinking a good amount of water is difficult on the road because you don’t want to constantly stop, ensuring you’re getting electrolytes for hydration is important.

Summer WW Snacks: Bananas

When planning healthy snacks, don’t skip over super simple ones like bananas. Fruit is zero points on Weight Watchers, plus it’s packed with nutrients. Easy-to-travel fruit like bananas should be the first go-to when planning healthy snacks. It comes in its own container, and is great for the earth! So it’s a win all around.

Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels

These buffalo chicken pinwheels are a favorite snack because it’s close to a fully balanced meal. With just 10 pieces, you’re getting healthy fats, carbs, and protein, so it’s a very filling snack. And, if you let them come to room temp while traveling, they’re the perfect snack to eat around lunchtime. Creamy, spicy, but delicious!  

10 pieces are 8 WW points. Calories 240,  Fat 13 g, Saturated fat 5.7 g,  Carbs 21 g,  Fiber 9 g, Sugars 3.7 g, Sodium 1327 mg, Protein 17 g. 

Summer WW Snacks: Built Bars

Protein bars make a great travel snack, but a lot of them are filled with extra carbs or fats. It’s hard to find a true high protein, protein bar. Enter, Built Bars! If you haven’t tried these, you’re missing out. They are truly candy bar like and have more protein than fat or carbs. Built Bar has a range of flavors and textures, so go ahead and get on the Built Bar train!

Fit & Active Baked Chocolate Wafers (Individual Packs)

If you need a little sweet treat while traveling, check out Aldi’s Fit & Active brand. They offer 100-calorie cookie packs. These chocolate wafers are a favorite – they’re reminiscent of the Oreo cookie without the filling. You can have a fun little dessert for just four Weight Watchers points.

Summer WW Snacks: Bada Bean Bada Boom

If you’re more into a crunchy, savory snack, try these Bada Bean Bada Boom packets instead. One bag is just two points, and it’s high protein as well! You get 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber in one pouch. It’s one of the healthiest, but flavorful snacks you can find. Stock up on these before your summer road trip!

Summer WW Snacks: Smart Sweets Sweet Fish 

Stopping at a gas station to get a gummy or candy snack is nostalgic for many of us. But thankfully, we now know that sugar like that is detrimental to our health.
