Wondering what to take/serve for that upcoming New Year's Eve party? Well do I have just the thing for you, this hot chicken taco dip is AMAZING!! I had to ask myself to be removed from sitting in front of this dish, no joke! The flavor is so good, with a little zest and perfect for dipping your favorite chips in or even use veggies to keep points low. This dip is super easy to make and you can prepare it, store in the fridge and heat up when ready to serve. Each serving is just 3 smart points on WW freestyle.. I promise this will be the star of the party!!
Hot chicken taco dip
3-4PP, 3SP blue & purple,4SP green
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken *weighed raw
- 1 package taco seasoning 30g
- 4 oz light cream cheese softened
- â…“ cup light sour cream
- 2 tablespoon calorie reduced mayonnaise
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheese I used a 3 cheese blend
- TOPPINGS
- Diced peppers
- Diced onions
- Fresh cilantro
Instructions
- In a large frying pan cook your ground chicken, add in taco seasoning and a few tablespoons of water.
- Preheat oven to 350F, I used a 9 inch skillet but you can use any dish that works.
- In a bowl mix together your cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, salsa, worcestershire sauce and ½ cup shredded cheese, stir well and add to your dish. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh diced peppers, onions, cilantro, you can also add olives, avocado, shredded lettuce or any veggies that you wish
- Serve warm with nacho chips, veggie sticks or pita bread.
- Makes 10 servings of approx â…“ cups
