Frozen Yogurt Buttons are extremely Weight Watchers-friendly: Both Greek and regular yogurt work well for this recipe, and the SmartPoints® or regular WW points will vary depending on your specific choices. But I added a suggestion at the bottom for a zero sugar nonfat Greek vanilla yogurt. Frozen yogurt buttons are also great for kids as an alternative to high sugar ice cream snacks. So, ditch the boring spoon and give these frozen yogurt buttons a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Three reasons why you need to make this recipe!

They feel like an indulgence but they’re very healthy.

These buttons offer a satisfying alternative to sugary snacks, allowing you to enjoy a sweet treat without compromising your health goals.

Frozen Yogurt Buttons are very versatile.

Get creative with your toppings! From mini chocolate chips and sprinkles to chopped fruit and nuts, the possibilities are endless. Just keep an eye on the SmartPoints® values based on your chosen toppings and yogurt brand.

They’re a very convenient snack.

Since they’re so easy to make you can just pop a few buttons in the freezer for a quick and refreshing snack anytime.DSCN9460

WW Points For Frozen Yogurt Buttons:

  • Nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, zero sugar 1 point
  • Sprinkles (for 1 tablespoon) 1 point

2 points for the whole recipe based on the WW app recipe creator.

Different ways to change up this recipe:

  • My yogurt is a Canadian brand (Skyr by PC) and is only 1SP for the amount I used. In the U.S. I would suggest the Dannon Light and Fit or Two Good. I used about ½ tablespoon of sprinkles so my bowl of buttons is only 1sp/pp. Points will depend on the yogurt brand and your topping.
  • If you don’t have time to pipe the yogurt, just spoon it onto the parchment paper, and spread it out in an even layer. Once it’s frozen, you can break it up like dessert bark.
  • Optional toppings (if you have extra points) are mini chocolate chips or chopped up candies like Reese’s cups.
  • You could also add fruit like blueberries as a zero point topping.

Tips and Tricks for Frozen Yogurt Buttons:

  • Store frozen yogurt buttons in the freezer until ready to eat. Of course, these will melt over time, so you can’t just leave them sitting there, but they do last awhile before melting (I eat them quickly enough I don’t have that problem!)
