Ingredients you need to make Mocha Donuts:
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp white sugar
- 1/2 cup 1% milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
FOR THE ICING
- 1/2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp instant coffee granules
- 1/4 cup confectionary sugar
How to make Mocha Donuts (step by step):
- Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 6 hole donut pan with some nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg and 1 Tbsp white sugar together. Add in milk and vanilla extract and stir well.
- Mix in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and coffee.
- Divide the batter over the 6 donut cups. Bake them in the oven for 16-18 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the icing. Stir together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add in the milk and coffee then stir in the powdered sugar. Mix well so the coffee granules dissolve.
- Once the donuts have cooled off, top them with the icing. Enjoy!
