  • 1 pack of reduced fat pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp apple sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • Preheat oven to 375F, spray a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Unroll your crescent rolls and portion into four sections of two, pinch any seems closed.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush on your apple sauce onto two of your dough pieces.
  • Mix your sugar and cinnamon together in a small bag and then sprinkle 1 Tbsp on to each dough piece that you brushed with apple sauce, set the rest aside to sprinkle on top of twists.
  • Place your other dough pieces on top of the covered pieces.
  • Use a pizza cutter and cut each piece into 9 small strips.
  • Twist each piece and place on your cookie sheet, sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar mix, bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, checking they don't burn. Makes 18 twists at 2PP each or 2SP on all 3 MyWW programs or 1 point plus.

Something I have never considered.. but may have to 🙂

  1. Hi Kate, Id love to make those yummy cinnamon rolls but what is fat pillsbury crescent roll?

Oh I’m sorry, I thought I explained it the best I could.. but yes I like showing the pictures when I can 🙂

  2. I made these today, modified the recipe, replaced the apple sauce with used Organic Earth Balance, a vegan butter, and mixed organic cane sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves and sprinkled that on, as opposed to the one ingredient, cinnamon. I really liked the outcome. Thanks for sharing…:)

Your welcome, sounds like you made some great changes to work for you 🙂

Was the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves organic too? I hope so. I buy all my organic seasonings, and spices from my Harris Teeter grocery store, but I can also buy them from Walmart or online too.

The “Print” button is not working. I had to right click and select “Open in new window” in order to print.

Was this on a desktop? I know from tablets it won’t work

      • Doesn’t work on my laptop either – however was able to just hit ctrl P and was able to print.

Hi Kim, it is the standard size from Pillsbury, I think it is a 8oz package with 8 crescent rolls in it
