Strawberry and Nutella is a combination that just makes sense — fruity, chocolatey, and completely irresistible together. These baked donuts bring those two flavors together in the most delightful way: a soft vanilla donut base topped with Nutella glaze and fresh strawberry bits. They’re ready in under 30 minutes, look beautiful on any brunch table, and taste like something you’d pay way too much for at a specialty donut shop. Make them on a Saturday morning and your whole household will be your biggest fan.
- Swap: Use any chocolate-hazelnut spread — store brands work perfectly and keep the cost down.
- Make-ahead: Bake and cool donuts a day ahead; glaze and top with strawberries the morning of serving for the best texture.
- Storage: Store glazed donuts in a single layer in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Variation: Use a raspberry or mixed berry topping instead of strawberry for a different fruit-and-chocolate pairing.
- Serving: Serve on a pretty platter with a light dusting of powdered sugar and extra sliced strawberries alongside.
It was about time I came up with another donut recipe! And what goes better than strawberries and nutella? 🙂 You wont be disappointed with these, they are bursting with strawberries and drizzled with nutella..The only thing you can complain about is having to lick the nutella of your fingers!! 😉 And these delicious donuts are only 4 smart points each… Enjoy 🙂
Strawberry nutella donuts

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup + 1Tbsp almond milk
- 2 Tbsp strawberry jam, I use a less sugar kind, 2Tbsp is 1pp
- 1/4 cup strawberries, cut into small pieces
- 1.5 Tbsp nutella
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350F, spray your donut pan and set aside.
-
Mix your flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Add your wet ingredients and mix well. Gently fold in your strawberries.
-
Divide your batter into the 6 donuts. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
-
Melt your nutella in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. It wont melt too much but this will help it pipe out of a bag better. Put the nutella in a small ziplock bag and cut a small hole. Drizzle the nutella over the 6 donuts. 4sp or 2pp each

Do you use all purpose flour in your donuts or self rising? The texture of mine were a little flat.
Thanks
Hi there, I use all purpose flour, I find some of the donuts with fresh fruit don’t rise as much as others without fruit do..
