Wondering what to do with that bag of kiwis? This list of kiwi recipes has plenty of delicious ideas! These small oval fruits are tangy, sweet, and a little bit sour. The center is green or golden yellow and the skin is brown with a fuzzy texture.

You’re probably used to eating them raw by themselves or blended up in a smoothie. But did you know you can cook with them? In fact, kiwi fruit is a fabulous ingredient to use in many different recipes from breakfast and lunch to dinner, desserts, and snacks!

Kiwi fruits are native to China but are now grown in several countries around the world! Some other countries that grow them include New Zealand (where they get their name), Italy, and the United States. The best part is that they are super healthy and are packed with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, potassium, and fiber.

I love eating a nice ripe kiwi raw but cooking with them is just as sweet! Check out this list of the best kiwi recipes I could find on the internet. My short list of faves: the Blackberry Kiwi Balsamic Chicken Salad Recipe, Kiwi Walnut Bread, Cupcakes With Buttercream, and so much more!

1. Kick-in-the-face Kiwi Salsa Recipe

Kiwi Salsa will become your new favorite thing if you’re like me and love a swift kick in the face! This is my new favorite thing in the world when I want something zesty and zingy. Beat the heat or the winter blues with this easy to make salsa recipe. It’s nearing the end of summer and I’m about sick of this heat. I’m ready to put on a sweater and have a pumpkin spice something or other. But it’s still summer for now and this gingery Kiwi Salsa is one of the ways I’m going to pass the time and stay refreshed.

2. Pineapple Kiwi Salad

Serve up a bowl of Pineapple Kiwi Salad for your next summer party or potluck. Fresh juicy tropical fruit like pineapple and kiwi are smothered in a sweet honey lime sauce and topped with crispy toasted coconut flakes. Pineapple salad is a fabulous treat for your next social gathering. This cold fruit salad is simple to make and stuffed with bright, vibrant flavor. All you need is pineapples that are sliced into cubes, kiwi, fresh mint, honey lime dressing, and toasted coconut.

3. Roasted (or grilled!) Salmon with Kiwi Salsa

Roasted kiwi recipes will change your whole world for the better! This salmon with Kiwi Salsa is a simple 30 minute dish whether you roast it or grill it! The salmon is buttery and the kiwi is tart- a match made in food heaven. So many kinds of seafood taste good with kiwi and you will want to make this one over and over. The best time to buy salmon is when it is in season, which is May to September or October. It’s available all year long of course but this is when it’s freshest and cheapest.

4. Blackberry Kiwi Balsamic Chicken Salad Recipe

Blackberry Kiwi Balsamic Chicken Salad Recipe is essentially effortless, and it can be changed up to represent different seasons! It’s lovely during Spring and Summer when kiwi really lightens up a chicken dish. This recipe brightens up a boring winter evening as well so don’t overlook it! The sweet/tart flavor of kiwi works so well with the savory chicken. It is mild and sweet, and when you pair it with fruit it becomes super appealing.

5. Kiwi Salad

Want to know how to make the perfect kiwi salad? Well you need the freshest kiwi of course! Look for kiwi fruit that is not mushy, it should be firm but not hard like a rock. When gently pressed the fruit should yield a bit but not too much. Green is better in my opinion than the ‘golden’ variety. It’s also better to get one that’s too hard rather than too soft. That’s because you can set it on the counter for a few days and it will continue to ripen.

6. Kiwi Lime Loaf Cake With Yogurt

Fresh kiwi recipes like this Kiwi Lime Loaf Cake With Yogurt will brighten your day. You will need some fresh and vibrant kiwi of course! First you need to peel them- the best way to do this is to use a serrated vegetable peeler. These are wonderful on softer fruits and vegetables such as peaches and tomatoes! You will want to serve this bread within a few hours of making it, when the kiwi has the best texture. However it’s also tasty after chilling in the refrigerator overnight!

7. Kiwi Walnut Bread

Kiwi walnut bread is so bright and full of flavors. I can’t believe I’ve never thought of combining these two flavors before (kiwi and walnut). This is quite a beautiful dish, it reminded me that the first time I ever tasted kiwi it was served with muffins. This recipe for Kiwi Walnut Bread is the perfect side dish to all of your spring and summer recipes! If you like banana bread with walnut, then you are going to love this flavorful combination of flavors too.

8. Easy Kiwi Sorbet with Only Two Ingredients

This Kiwi Sorbet is the perfect blend between kiwi and your favorite traditional sorbet or sherbet. I love this kiwi sorbet too because it is so light and refreshing! Kiwi fruit has the perfect frozen texture for sorbet too. The mixture of sweet and tangy in every bite will have you jumping for joy! Sorbet is wonderful for those hot and humid summer days. It is actually a “real dessert,” like the sorbet you might find at a brunch restaurant. It pairs wonderfully with coconut whipped cream and crushed nuts.

9. Vegan No-Bake Kiwi Cheesecake Recipe

Vegan kiwi recipes for dessert will change your whole life! This Vegan No-Bake Kiwi Cheesecake Recipe is no exception. The creamy filling is very light and has just a hint of lemon. You can always use lime juice to make a kiwi lime topping with coconut sugar if you like! This Easy Fresh Cheesecake is a very delightful treat for a hot summer day or escape from a cold winter night! It is perfect for serving after all of your cozy comfort meals any time of the year.

10. Kiwi Pudding Cups

It really doesn’t get much more simple than this recipe for Kiwi Pudding Cups! All you need is 8 kiwis, peeled, cut crosswise in half, 2 JELL-O Zero Sugar Vanilla Pudding Snacks, and 1/4 tsp. coconut extract or almond extract! Oh yes and don’t forget to have 1 cup thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping. I love that stuff! Then all you have to do is skin the fruit, cut them in half, and slice off the rounded bottom of each kiwi. Next scoop out the centers, leaving 1/4-inch-thick shells. Mix the pudding and extract and scoop it into the kiwi shells md top with Cool Whip just before serving.

11. Healthy Kiwi Muffins Recipe

Want to try the best homemade Kiwi Muffins ever? This recipe is simple to make at home in less than one hour. These tangy sweet muffins are a fantastic sweet breakfast or on the go snack. Serve them hot right out of the oven, smothered with melty glaze, ricotta, cream cheese or butter. Another serving idea is to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, crushed nuts, chocolate sauce and freshly sliced kiwifruit. You will need mixing bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, and a few more items and ingredients!

12. Kiwi Bars

Easy kiwi recipes like these Kiwi Bars are always a hit with a crowd or the family! You can serve them alone or with whipped cream or ice cream. They are versatile as you can add various add-ins like chocolate chips or coconut flakes. The crust of the bars is my favorite part because it is rich and buttery. This pairs so well with the kiwi topping, the contrast of rich butter and slightly sweet and tart is magical. When making these bars it’s important to perfect the crust first then move on to the filling.

13. Grilled Kiwi With Coconut Whipped Cream

When I eat kiwi I normally just do the regular slice & scoop method. I would simply cut the kiwi in half and scoop the flesh out with a spoon! However I’ve been more meticulous recently because I’ve been grilling it! As a matter of fact grilling fruit is my new favorite snack! I grilled up a pineapple alongside avocado and it was heavenly. SunGold kiwis are so tasty for grilling and the skin isn’t fuzzy like the green ones. The flesh is a lovely warm yellow color that has a sweet tangy flavor. Grilling causes the sugars to caramelize and it’s extremely delicious.

14. Kiwi Lime Pie

This decadent Kiwi Lime Pie was imagined as a unique gluten and dairy-free dessert for the writer’s mom this summer. It was served up at a birthday party right next to a conventional cheesecake! But would everyone pass over the kiwi option for the dairy option? Well it turned out that everyone loved the Kiwi Lime Pie and it was a huge hit!  This delectable dessert is slightly sweet with a silky cheesecake-like filling and a sweet crust. The tartness of the fresh kiwi in the filling counterbalances the sweetness of the crust!

15. Hawaiian Cheesecake Salad Recipe

Hawaiian kiwi recipes like this salad will have you wanting to hop on a plane and visit the tropical island immediately. This simple Hawaiian Cheesecake Salad Recipe combines tropical fruit with a decadent creamy cheesecake filling. This treat is so quick and easy and only needs a handful of simple ingredients to make! 16. The Most Addicting Kiwi Tart Recipe

Summertime is the best time for kiwi’s and my whole family loves them. My youngest calls them hairy fruit. We eat them raw and in fruit salads but have you ever made a kiwi tart? It is simple and versatile. Featuring lightly sweetened pastry and a creamy filling, guests will not be able to pass them up. In fact there are so many flavor sensations, like sweet and tart kiwifruit, creamy and rich cream, and a crumbly crust.

17. How To Make Dried Kiwi In The Oven Or Food Dehydrator

These Dried Kiwi In The Oven Or Food Dehydrator are the best little snack that you just have to try. They will dehydrate faster in the oven because dehydrators run at lower temperatures. The key to oven dehydration is to use the lowest possible temperature. It’s super simple to make dried kiwi in the oven if you want them way faster! All you need for this recipe are 10 kiwi fruits that are peeled and sliced into ¼ inch discs.

18. Kiwi Cupcakes

Baked kiwi recipes like cupcakes will knock your socks off! I’ve always loved frosting cakes and cupcakes! All the different piping tips and styles are so much fun. My favorite piping tip to use on cupcakes is the 1M star tip. That’s how you get the classic floral swirl. To make the frosting for this recipe you need 1 stick butter, ½ cup vegetable shortening, 2-3 cups powdered sugar, and 2 pureed kiwis. It is important to remove the white center from the kiwis before puréeing. Otherwise it can clog up your piping tip if it’s too chunky.

19. Mini Kiwi Upside-Down Cakes

Look at these delightful little Mini Kiwi Upside-Down Cakes! They remind me of sunny skies and a cool breeze. You can serve them up at a party, picnic or BBQ! Ingredients needed from your grocery list include: 2 green or gold kiwi, (peeled and sliced), 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 egg, 3/4 cup orange juice, and 1 cup coconut!

20. Kiwi Curd

This kiwi curd is simple to make, and a fabulous contribution to your brunch or dessert. Bright, vibrant kiwi flavor that’s sure to be a hit. In order to create the perfect curd you need a proper amount of acid to react with the proteins in the egg yolks. This is the combination that results in a nice, thick texture – otherwise it will be too runny. That’s why citric acid is so important and makes a wonderfully beautiful kiwi curd!

21. Homemade Kiwi Lemonade

This Homemade Kiwi Lemonade looks really lovely and I’m thinking of trying it tonight! It looks absolutely refreshing and vibrant! If you love lemonade you will love kiwi lemonade. Combining other zesty fruits with lemonade is a fabulous way to beat the heat or enjoy a refreshing beverage. The ripeness of the kiwis will affect the sweetness level of the drink so adjust the sugar accordingly.

22. Easy Kiwi Compote

Easy kiwi recipes like this compote will make your dessert recipes so much better. The best part is you can make it with 3 simple ingredients in only 15 minutes. It’s so good too, it’s chunky, sweet, and tangy. I love to serve it with waffles, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, ice cream, and even pavlova! That’s right, if you’re ever wondering what to do with your leftover bag of kiwis, make some compote! Never let your fruit waste away again!

23. Kiwi Creme Brûlée

Kiwi Creme Brûlée is even more delicious than it sounds! It’s sweet, tart, crunchy, and creamy. A perfect dessert recipe to welcome spring or summer. You will need 1/2 cup peeled and diced Kiwi, 1 cup heavy cream, 4 egg yolks, 1/4 cup sugar (like Dixie Crystals), 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 cup extra fine sugar for Brûlée topping, and 1/4 cup sliced kiwi and kiwi berries for decoration!

24. Tropical Kiwi Crumble

This kiwi crumble recipe is my brand new favorite dish ever. Using gold kiwi over sour greens, it’s packed with tropical flavors that everyone will love. Featuring toasted coconut, cardamom, butter rolled oats, and brown sugar. It’s perfect for a summer brunch, breakfast, or dessert. Everyone will adore the flavors and it’s amazing with a cold glass of almond milk or even a mimosa!

25. Kiwi Fruit Rolls in Rice Paper

Kiwi recipes with rice paper are delicious. Here is what you need to make this one: 1/2 cup cooked medium grain rice, 2 tablespoons of coconut milk, and 4 sheets of Vietnamese rice paper. For the fruit you will need: 1 kiwi fruit that is peeled and sliced and 1 yellow peach or nectarine that is pitted and sliced! Then just combine the warm, cooked rice with the coconut milk in a bowl and mix. Wet one piece of rice paper then add the fruit and rice and roll!
