- Salmon filets, skinless and boneless – ½ to ¾ lb
- Olive oil cooking spray – ½ tbsp olive oil
- Chili powder – 1 teaspoon
- Dried basil – ½ teaspoon
- Lime, juiced – approx 1 tbsp, divided
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Cook These Air Fryer Salmon Bites (Step by Step)
- Dice the salmon filets into squares approx. ½ inch and spread out on a piece of tin foil.
- Mix the juice of half the lime, a drizzle of olive oil and basil and chili powder together in a small bowl.
- Drizzle or brush the lime and spices over the salmon filets.
- Toss gently so they are evenly covered.
- Place the salmon and tin foil in an air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes at 370F.
- Check doneness and spoon any of the juices back over the top.
- Cook a further minute then sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve with a wedge of lime.

Tips and Tricks
- Air-fryers are all different so cooking times may vary. You can tell when salmon is done as it flakes when broken apart. If it doesn’t look cooked after the 6 minutes, cook a minute more and check. Repeat as necessary.
- Serving ideas: toasted wholewheat pita bread with coleslaw. On cauliflower rice or brown rice, with lemon zucchini noodles. There are endless possibilities!
- You can use 1 tsp olive oil instead of the oil spray but the points value goes up to 1.
- If you have leftovers, they taste better cold but you can also give them an extra drizzle of olive oil and reheat in the air fryer at 300F for 2-3 minutes. Leftovers are best eaten within a day or two.
