Tips & Variations
- Ingredient swap: Use turkey or chicken sausage instead of pork to trim fat and points while keeping full flavor.
- Make-ahead: Assemble the full bake the night before, cover, and refrigerate; bake fresh in the morning for an easy brunch.
- Storage: Leftovers reheat beautifully — cover with foil and warm in a 350°F oven for 15 minutes, or microwave individual portions.
- Variation: Add sautéed mushrooms and a pinch of thyme to the gravy for an earthy, savory upgrade.
- Serving: Pair with a simple fruit salad or sliced melon to balance the richness of the bake.
Biscuits N’ Gravy Bake

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Turkey Breakfast Sausage, I use Jennie-0

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Cook 8 ounces of raw turkey sausage. Drain fat and set aside.
- Cook the package of gravy mix according to directions. (I use water instead of milk to keep it lower calorie) Set aside.

This recipe is delicious! I made as directed. My country gravy mix made 2 cups (8 servings) so I used 1 1/2 cup of the gravy, which I figured was 6 servings. I did cut the biscuits into 8ths to cover more of the pan. You could totally bulk this recipe up with the addition of sautéed mushrooms, sweet peppers, or other favorite veggies. Going to make this for company next week!
This recipe is absolutely wonderful. We eat it quite frequently. It keeps in the refrigerator and we warm up the leftovers. It’s very filling and so tasty!
