You guys.. I think I hit the holy grail on this one.. and I am in ranch dressing heaven! I’m trying to take advantage of the new zero point foods where I can so it was on my list to make a ranch dressing with the now zero point non-fat yogurt, but I couldn’t wait and boy am I glad I didn’t. This ranch dressing is nothing short of AMAZING!! It might actually get me to eat vegetables (a big MIGHT!) You can use it as a dip, a dressing on salad or in recipes that call for ranch, the possibilities are endless with this one and I am excited to see what creations I can come up with using it. I know there are several ranch dressing out there so I wanted to make mine slightly different, I won’t lie, it has a pop of zest to it but I think you will all love it, and even more so that it is zero points on the WW.
0 Smart point ranch dressing

Ingredients
- 1 cup non fat plain greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp milk, I used 1%
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried chives
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dill weed
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl and serve.
- Store dressing in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
- *Note- I edited this to 1/4 tsp of paprika (it was originally 1/2) some complained of a little too zesty and a pink color, this should help
God bless you! This is the best thing to happen to me all week.
So glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Was looking for a good zero point veggie dip and I think you nailed it with this one. First of all I love yogurt, so right off the bat, this worked for me. I also don’t like to use processed food, so glad you did not use a ranch mix. I cut the recipe in half because it was just for me. I did not have dried chives so subbed dried basil. I used less salt than recommended and used a hot Hungarian paprika that I have. Was a bit heavy handed with the other herbs to boost the flavor. Let it sit in refrig for a while before dipping the vegs. It was great! Will definitely make this again and will also start following your blog! Thanks for great recipe.
Hi Vivian, I am so glad you enjoyed the ranch and I hope you find more recipes to enjoy 🙂
I made this last night and let it sit in the fridge overnight before trying it…wow! This is really good! Thank you!
Hi Mary, so glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Hidden Valley Ranch powder seasoning is 0 points as well and already has all the spices for those of you who are on the go. 1 tbsp per cup of yogurt.
Hi, I am so glad I found this recipe. Thank you! I followed the exact recipe and doubled it. It is delicious.
I made this and didn’t care for the dill. It overpowered the whole thing, that’s all I could taste. Threw it out. I’m going to try again, but use a lot less dill. Love that it has 0 points!
Hi MaryLee, yup we all have different taste buds so what one loves someone else may hate.. At least you know what it was and hopefully enjoy it more with less dill
I just made it for my weekly meal prep. Thanks so much! It tastes so good!
So glad you enjoyed it Pam 🙂
I was really intrigued by the idea of this recipe but didn’t have most of the herbs/spices on hand and couldn’t see a good reason to buy things I’m not likely to use again (dill, chives, dried parsley) so I did ‘cheat’ and use packaged ranch dressing mix and I really liked it…I’ve even used Italian salad dressing mix too and was amazed at the flavor. I use it as sandwich spread, dip and thin out when I want to use as salad dressing. Funny thing is, I HATE Ranch salad dressing (in bottles) but THIS is great. I may even decide to pickup the herbs/spices and make it YOUR way.
I have tried the package as well and it is good, if you are going to make it more often then all the reason to buy the spices 🙂 I buy them in bulk so I don’t need much at a time.. so glad you enjoyed it.. and funny enough I am not a huge fan of bottled ranch either ha!
great ideas!! I am going to try this.
Can you use regular nonfat yogurt or anything? I hate Greek but want to make this!!
I have never tried it, I’m not sure if the regular yogurt would be thick enough… have you tried Skyr yogurt?
I am definitely going to try this! What brand of greek yogurt did you use?
I’m in Canada and I usually use Liberte … Hope you enjoy it 🙂
