My theory stands strong that a little goes a long way… and sometimes just having a little nutella in your life is all it takes! 🙂 When we see these decadent chocolate treats, bursting with nutella our hearts flutter a little… and then sadness takes over when we realize there is just no way we can eat that..and not have a gain this week. 😉 Well I am all about compromises.. and finding ways to have our cake and eat it too! These little nutella filled donut bites are the perfect decadent guilt free treat, costing you only 2 smart points. 🙂
Nutella filled donut bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup white flour
- 3 Tbsp white sugar
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp egg whites
- 2/3 cup almond milk, I use unsweetened original
- 2 Tbsp nutella
- 1 Tbsp mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F, spray a mini muffin pan.
- Mix your dry ingredients together in a small bowl, then add your wet.
- Put 1 tsp of mix in the bottom of 20 mini muffin cups. Top with your nutella, you will be using just over 1/4 tsp in each bite.
- Top with remaining batter, about 1/2 Tbsp on each. Divide your mini chocolate chips over the 20 donut bites.
- Bake in oven for approx. 10 minutes. Each donut bite is 2sp or 1pp, or 2 for 3pp.
