Hot cheesy spinach dip

If your anything like me… you know to stay clear of the hot dips…because I just cant stop!! πŸ˜‰ So I decided to make one that was point friendly.. And a great addition to your Superbowl party. πŸ™‚ It is easy to whip up and takes only 15 minutes in the oven.. and the results are a gooey cheesy warm and yummy dip that you can enjoy without too much guilt!


Hot cheesy spinach dip

  • 4 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup light ricotta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves diced garlic
  • Green onion, chopped
  • 1½ cup chopped fresh spinach
  • ⅓ cup light grated cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a small bowl mix everything together except your grated cheese.
  3. Place dip in a oven safe dish, I used a 7.5x5 inch pyrex. Sprinkle your grated cheese on top.
  4. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Serve warm with nacho chips or pita breads. ¼th of the dish is 5 smart points (4pp)
