These chocolate cereal treats are a no-bake recipe that takes about 10 minutes and tastes like something you’d find at a bake sale for twice the price. Rich chocolate coats crunchy cereal in a treat that sets perfectly at room temperature and has an incredible snap when you bite into it. They’re endlessly customizable, made with pantry staples, and absolutely perfect for last-minute treats, holiday candy trays, or any time you need something sweet and satisfying without breaking out a single baking dish. Everyone always wants the recipe.
- Swap: Use dark chocolate for a less sweet, more sophisticated treat that works especially well for adult gatherings.
- Make-ahead: These are best made ahead — set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for a firmer, snappier texture.
- Variation: Press dried cranberries, toasted coconut, or crushed pretzels into the top before the chocolate sets.
- Serving: Cut into bite-sized squares and arrange on a platter with other no-bake treats for a festive candy-box presentation.
