If your like me and love your pancakes then you might of been a little upset to see they took a bit of a hit as far as points go, 1/3 cup of pancake mix use to cost you 3pp and now you will be handing over 5sp for that same serving 🙁 But this girl was not going to give up her pancakes!! I will still make up my mix from time to time, but I though I would try and create some from scratch that might be a little more filling and satisfying.. So I made these delicious banana oatmeal chocolate chip pancakes that were yummy and filling, now keep in mind due to the banana in there the texture is different. Makes 6 pancakes at 8 smart points or 7 points plus.

I love pancakes, but thought I might have to give them up when I started WW. I found your recipe & boy am I glad I did! These are amazing!! I like to make them into 8 small pancakes & eat 4 for breakfast & the other 4 as a snack later in the day. They’re so good you don’t even need syrup! Thanks!

Hi Julie (my fellow Canadian!!) No the serving is all the pancakes! I do use a few things I find in the U.S but most are Canadian products 🙂 Hope you find some recipes you like..

These are going to be my breakfast in the morning. Only, I am hoping to eat only half. 🙂 Loving your website, such great recipes.

They were good, but mine turned out a bit thick. I didn’t have the old fashioned oats so I used Quaker Instant oats, and I am guessing that is what made the difference.

It might have.. you can add in an extra splash of milk if it seems to thick m=next time 🙂

  6. Your recipes are awesome. I have challenged myself to try everyone. Thank you so much

  9. Sounds great! Not a fan of almond milk so I’ll use 1% and adjust calories. Not a WW member, but your recipes are REALLY helping me to eat better AND loose weight!!

I just blackened banana and found this recipe. Making these now but substituting milk. Can’t wait!

How are these only 7 or 8 points? The chips alone are 7 points for 2 tbsp. I ate them and then went to log them and want to cry because this recipe is 14 points!!!

    • Drizzle Reply

because it is 2 tsp not Tbsp 😉 the only other points come from the oats and flour

  12. Hi! Can the batter be refrigerated and cooked over the course of a week?

    • Drizzle Reply

Hi, I would think maybe a day or two in the fridge would be ok but not sure about a week
