Well Plated shares their recipe to this traditional dish, which includes a wine and tomato base. A splash of balsamic vinegar is added to the sauce, deepening the flavor beautifully.

5. Chicken Piccata

White wine, lemon, and butter, this recipe from The Cozy Cook has everything you could possibly want from a sauce. It’s also an excellent dish to prepare if you have any pent up rage, as the chicken requires some pounding. They divulge their secret of adding some cold butter at the end to create the velvetiest, smoothest chicken piccata you’ll ever try.

6. Italian Roasted Herb Chicken

10. Three Ingredient Italian Chicken

What are the magic three ingredients? Well, you’ve got the chicken of course, then the remaining two are brown sugar and dry Italian seasoning mix. The sauce forms from the juices that ooze out of the chicken, mixing with the dry rub. The Midnight Baker suggests adding some vegetables like mushrooms and green beans if you want to complete the meal.

11. Five Ingredient Crockpot Italian Chicken

This recipe from Easy Chicken Recipes goes a little further than the three ingredients above, it also uses the chicken and dry Italian seasoning mix, but also has you throwing in cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. It’s an actual set it and forget it crockpot meal too, no browning the chicken or anything like that. It’s just placed in and turned on.

12. Chicken Florentine

This creamy sauced chicken from Carlsbad Cravings can be eaten over pasta or potatoes. Spinach is the signature vegetable for this dish, but it’s pretty versatile so you can add in whatever you have on hand or prefer, zucchini or mushrooms perhaps.
