With every bite of this meal, you’ll be conjuring up the image of an old Italian grandmother cooking away in the kitchen. Well Plated shares their recipe to this traditional dish, which includes a wine and tomato base. A splash of balsamic vinegar is added to the sauce, deepening the flavor beautifully.

5. Chicken Piccata

White wine, lemon, and butter, this recipe from The Cozy Cook has everything you could possibly want from a sauce. It’s also an excellent dish to prepare if you have any pent up rage, as the chicken requires some pounding. They divulge their secret of adding some cold butter at the end to create the velvetiest, smoothest chicken piccata you’ll ever try.

6. Italian Roasted Herb Chicken

Life In The Lofthouse gives us a classic roasted chicken, with Italian herbs. So simple, so tasty. It’s the perfect weeknight dinner as it only takes 40 minutes to prepare and cook, so those hungry mouths won’t get antsy waiting on food. This recipe specifies not to pound your chicken, leaving it to plump up giving you a nice juicy piece of meat.

7. Chicken Scallopini

Salt and Lavender pound the chicken thinly for this delightful lemon butter scallopini. It’s another super quick meal, coming together in only 30 minutes. The crispiness of the chicken is created by rolling it in flour and frying.

8. Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta

What is chicken arrabiata? Directly translated, it means ‘angry chicken’. Vikalinka assures her readers it does not taste angry, it tastes like heaven! The main ingredient being canned tomatoes, she highlights the importance of getting the highest quality you can or you’ll sacrifice on taste.

10. Three Ingredient Italian Chicken

What are the magic three ingredients? Well, you’ve got the chicken of course, then the remaining two are brown sugar and dry Italian seasoning mix. The sauce forms from the juices that ooze out of the chicken, mixing with the dry rub. The Midnight Baker suggests adding some vegetables like mushrooms and green beans if you want to complete the meal.

11. Five Ingredient Crockpot Italian Chicken

This recipe from Easy Chicken Recipes goes a little further than the three ingredients above, it also uses the chicken and dry Italian seasoning mix, but also has you throwing in cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. It’s an actual set it and forget it crockpot meal too, no browning the chicken or anything like that. It’s just placed in and turned on.

12. Chicken Florentine

This creamy sauced chicken from Carlsbad Cravings can be eaten over pasta or potatoes. Spinach is the signature vegetable for this dish, but it’s pretty versatile so you can add in whatever you have on hand or prefer, zucchini or mushrooms perhaps.

13. Mozzarella Chicken Parmigiana

Crispy, fried, stuffed and sprinkled with cheese. Flawless Food pulls through for us with this delicious chicken dish. Pasta, potatoes, chips or salad go beautifully on the side of this cheesy dish.


14. Chicken Milanese

Small Town Woman breads and fries the chicken to perfection. Then serves it with arugula and sliced red onion on top, so we can all feel good about eating the said fried chicken. If you like your chicken extra crispy, pounding it is recommended.

15. Creamy Ricotta, Spinach and Chicken Cannelloni

Drink Milk encourages you to get your fix of dairy with this recipe featuring an abundance of ricotta. Mixed together with spinach and chicken, then stuffed into cannelloni tubes will make your belly very happy. The creamy tomato sauce that coats the dish finishes it off beautifully.
