13 Easy Weight Watchers Instant Pot Recipes Perfect For The Holidays

Need a quick and mouthwatering meat recipe idea? These Instant Pot Bone-In Beef Short Ribs will have you drooling! They’re sure to be a hit with the family!

Equipment

  • 1 6+ quart Instant Pot
  • 1 Pair of tongs

Ingredients 

  • 2 lbs beef ribs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp BBQ spice rub
  • BBQ sauce of your choice

Instructions 

  • Rub the short ribs generously with your spice rub.
  • Press Saute to preheat the instant pot, then add the oil.
  • When oil is hot, sear the ribs in small batches for about 5 to 8 minutes, do not over crowd in order to properly distribute the heat.
  • Remove the meat with tongs.
  • Add the beef broth into the Instant Pot then place the trivet inside and place the meat on top and lock the lid.
  • Cook on high pressure for 50 minutes.
  • Use the natural steam release before carefully opening the lid.
  • Use tongs to move ribs to a plate and coat in BBQ sauce.
  • Cover with foil to keep warm and rest for 10 minutes.
