You guys.. I think I hit the holy grail on this one.. and I am in ranch dressing heaven! I’m trying to take advantage of the new zero point foods where I can so it was on my list to make a ranch dressing with the now zero point non-fat yogurt, but I couldn’t wait and boy am I glad I didn’t. This ranch dressing is nothing short of AMAZING!! It might actually get me to eat vegetables (a big MIGHT!) You can use it as a dip, a dressing on salad or in recipes that call for ranch, the possibilities are endless with this one and I am excited to see what creations I can come up with using it. I know there are several ranch dressing out there so I wanted to make mine slightly different, I won’t lie, it has a pop of zest to it but I think you will all love it, and even more so that it is zero points on the WW.
0 Smart point ranch dressing

Ingredients
- 1 cup non fat plain greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp milk, I used 1%
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried chives
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dill weed
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl and serve.
- Store dressing in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
- *Note- I edited this to 1/4 tsp of paprika (it was originally 1/2) some complained of a little too zesty and a pink color, this should help
I made this recently and 1 tsp of pepper is too much. I will adjust when I make again.
Yup, make it work for you, we all have our levels of spice, I love pepper so I could of easily added more haha
Ah-mazing. Having this makes the “free” veggies so much more appetizing as a snack. Just a little bit goes a long way! THANK YOU!!!
You are very welcome, so glad you enjoyed it 🙂
thank you! prepared this and it was delicious. all real food and no chemical items! I didn’t even have all of the ingredients and it was still scrumptious. I put in less pepper (not a fan of black pepper) and a real garlic clove (very small).
I so appreciate your recipes with no chemical additives.
Thanks Nancy, so glad you enjoyed the ranch, nice thing about this one is you can custom it to your taste buds 🙂
I came across this recently and want to make it… we don’t have parsley, does it really need it? If you think it really adds to it with the other ingredients I will go get it but wanted to check.
Hi, feel free to try it without and go from there .. the nice thing about this is you can play around with the seasonings
Will try for my family for December festivities…Thank you, we all love ranch!
Yay, hope you all enjoy it 🙂
Love this recipe and it’s really nice to add on top of some salmon .
So glad you love it, thanks for the tip re: salmon 🙂
I just whipped this up to use on my wraps tomorrow. I didn’t have dried chives so I left those out. I added a bit of cayenne pepper for heat. Tasted the spoon and it was pretty tasty. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow. Thank you.
Awesome, hope you enjoyed it 🙂
Just made this! Used a touch if cumin (because I love the flavor) and only a bit if pepper. It’s a great substitute for my addiction to whole fat, creamy ranch dressing! ? Using it as a veggie dip.
Hi Jamie, so glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Howdy!! I truly appreciate this healthy recipe, which can easily be adapted to our individual tastes! I get so dismayed when I enthusiastically read a new WW type recipe, only to find it includes chemicals & unhealthy ingredients. Yes, I’d like to shed a few pounds, but my main goal is to be healthy!! Hidden Valley Ranch powder ingredients include stuff I don’t want to eat!! First ingredient: maltodextrin, which is a sugar. There is more of that than anything else in that powder!! YUK! Third ingredient: salt!! There’s also monosodium glutamate, calcium stearate, artificial flavor, xanthan gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, guar gum and natural flavors. NO thank you!! Bless you for sharing your HEALTHY ranch dressing!! I shared it on facebook & Pinterest… and I’ll be sharing it with friends!! By the way, black pepper, cayenne & crushed pepper flakes all contribute to speeding up our metabolism—which= burn more calories!!
Hi Carol, thank you for your kind words, I am so glad you enjoyed the dressing and I appreciate you sharing the recipe 🙂
I wanted so badly to like this recipe! But the amount of salt in this is unbelievable! It made it 100% inedible and after one small taste, it made me pucker and I’m sure I now have high blood pressure! I “might” attempt this again, but with maybe just a pinch of salt, or non at all.
Sorry you felt that way, it is only 1 tsp sea salt.. but we all have different levels of what is too much or not enough.. just leave it out next time, easily done
