Equipment

  • 1 Food processor

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces block full fat feta Feel free to use reduced or fat free if available in your area.
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Break the feta into chunks and place into a blender or food processor. Pulse 5-6 times until mostly broken down.
  • Add the lemon zest, cream cheese and the yogurt. Blend on low for 20-30 seconds until the feta is mostly smooth but with a visible texture. Overblending it can ultimately make it runny.
  • Scrape the whipped feta into a serving bowl. Spread out with a spoon but intentionally leave small lines and ridges to add texture. Sprinkle the fresh herbs all over the dip. Feel free to add any additions such as fresh cracked pepper, honey, or olive oil drizzles into the ridges created with the spoon. Serve chilled. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
