Preheat oven to 350F and spray a 9 inch baking dish with some non stick spray.
Peel and slice the apples, any apples will work.
Add sliced apples and cranberries to a bowl. Add in the 2 Tbsp of flour and brown sugar, lemon juice and vanilla and stir well.
Place fruit mixture into the baking dish.
In a small bowl mix together the crumble topping, flour, oats, brown sugar, walnuts, nutmeg and melted butter, mix untill crumbly and then sprinkle on top of the fruit mixture.
Bake in the oven for approximately 45 minutes, till the fruit is tender and the crumble is golden.
Let cool for 5 minutes then serve. Makes 6 servings -approximately 1 cup servings
Store leftovers in the fridge, you can freeze this crisp.
