Cinnamon cake donuts

Ingredients

  • ½ cup + 1Tbsp flour
  • 3 tablespoon white cake mix
  • ½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon liquid egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnmaon
  • For topping
  • 1 teaspoon reduced calorie margarine melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 6 hole donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a bowl mix the all purpose flour, cake mix, brown sugar, and baking powder. Add in the egg whites, vanilla, and milk, and mix well.
  • Use half of the batter and divide over the 6 hole donut pan. In a small zip lock bag, mix the 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut off the corner tip of the bag and swirl the sugar mix over the 6 donuts. Top with remaining batter.
  • Bake the donuts in the oven for 14 minutes.
  • Melt the margarine and with a pastry brush, brush the melted margarine onto the donuts. Place the 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mix on a flat plate and dip the butter side of the donuts in the mix.
  • Makes 6 donuts. Enjoy!
