- 500 g. of green beans trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ cup whole-wheat flour 55 g.
- ¼ cup egg whites 50 g. (2 units)
- ¼ cup milk low fat, 60 ml
- ⅔ cup Panko bread crumbs 60 g.
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In a large bowl, combine the whole-wheat flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg whites and milk. In a third bowl, combine the Panko bread crumbs.
Dip the green beans in the flour mixture, then the egg white mixture, and then the Panko bread crumb mixture.
Place the green beans on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with oil.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Serve immediately.

** You can also make this recipe in the air fryer. To do this, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the breaded green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
