Cloud Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, low fat
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Place the egg whites in a clean mixing bowl and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolks, cream cheese, and baking powder. Mix well until smooth and no lumps of cream cheese remain.
  • Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. This may take a few minutes.
  • Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites. Make sure to mix it gently to avoid deflating the egg whites.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small rounds or desired shapes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the Cloud Bread is golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let the Cloud Bread cool on a wire rack.
  • Enjoy your homemade Cloud Bread as a low-carb bread alternative or use it as a base for sandwiches or other creative dishes.
