- 1 pack of reduced fat pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 Tbsp apple sauce
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 375F, spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and portion it into four sections of two. Pinch any seams closed.
Using a pastry brush, brush on the apple sauce onto two of your dough pieces.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bag or bowl and then sprinkle 1 tablespoon onto each dough piece that you brushed with apple sauce. Set the rest aside to sprinkle on top of the cinnamon twists.
Place the other dough pieces on top of the covered pieces.
Use a pizza cutter and cut each piece into 9 small strips.
Grab the ends of each small strip, and twist in opposite directions until you get a pretty spiral all the way down the piece. Place each piece on the cookie sheet. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mix.
Bake them in the oven for 10-12 minutes, checking often so they don't burn.
