Hot chicken taco dip

  • 1 lb ground chicken *weighed raw
  • 1 package taco seasoning 30g
  • 4 oz light cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp calorie reduced mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheese I used a 3 cheese blend
  • Diced peppers
  • Diced onions
  • Fresh cilantro


  • In a large frying pan cook your ground chicken, add in taco seasoning and a few tablespoons of water.
  • Preheat oven to 350F, I used a 9 inch skillet but you can use any dish that works.
  • In a bowl mix together your cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, salsa, worcestershire sauce and 1/2 cup shredded cheese, stir well and add to your dish. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with fresh diced peppers, onions, cilantro, you can also add olives, avocado, shredded lettuce or any veggies that you wish
  • Serve warm with nacho chips, veggie sticks or pita bread.
  • Makes 10 servings of approx 1/3 cups
