chicken taco dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken *weighed raw
  • 1 package taco seasoning 30g
  • 4 oz light cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp calorie reduced mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheese I used a 3 cheese blend
  • TOPPINGS
  • Diced peppers
  • Diced onions
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • In a large frying pan, cook the ground chicken, and add in the taco seasoning with a few tablespoons of water.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F. In a bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, salsa, Worcestershire sauce, and ½ cup of the shredded cheese. Stir well and add to the oven safe dish you’ll be using for the dip. Top it with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with fresh diced peppers, onions, and cilantro.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or pita bread. Enjoy!
