Ingredients

  • 4 breasts fillet (about 300 grams)
  • 2.5 cups low fast greek yogurt, plain, 700 g
  • 6 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup chicken broth, 120 ml
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp herbes de Provence
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by drying the chicken breasts with a towel and seasoning them with salt, pepper, and herbes de Provence.
  • In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the pot and sear them on both sides until they develop a golden-brown crust.
  • Once the chicken is nicely browned, add the chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and Greek yogurt to the pot. Stir everything together to combine the flavors.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the chicken simmer in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly. Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Once the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has reached the desired consistency, remove the pot from the heat.
  • Serve the Marry Me Chicken hot, spooning the flavorful sauce over the chicken breasts.
