Pumpkin pie smoothie & pumpkin spice latte

Ingredients

Pumpkin pie smoothie

  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • cup plain 0% greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk *I used 1%
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 Tbsp sugar-free syrup
  • 2.5 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Pumpkin spice latte

  • 8 oz fresh-brewed coffee
  • 1.5 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup milk *I used 1%
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free syrup
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Pumpkin pie smoothie

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend till smooth and creamy.

Pumpkin spice latte

  • Brew coffee of your choice
  • Add milk and pumpkin puree to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring often, 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the syrup, vanilla, nutmeg and pumpkin spice. Use a frother to make the whipped topping or you can try adding to a blender.
  • Spoon the froth on top of the freshly brewed coffee, it may make enough for 2 lattes depending on how much froth you want to use.

*Note- substitute with unsweetened almond/cashew milk to lower points to 1 on blue/purple and 2 on green
**Note- I don't add points for fruit in smoothies, I do not drink them often enough to feel it is necessary but you do what is best for you and your journey.
