We are almost through the first week of August and well I’m not going to lie, I am eagerly awaiting September! It is by far my favorite month of the year, while yes I am a little sad we say goodbye to summer, fall is and always has been my favorite season.. September also brings my birthday, my wedding anniversary (17 this year) and let’s not forget back to school (fellow mum’s can I get a woohoo!!) Fall is my favorite time of the year to bake and cook, think delicious pumpkin spice muffins, warm and fresh out of the oven loaves and of coarse easy family meals of comfort food right out of the crock pot.
I have been so busy this summer, already been on one trip and about to take another next week to Nashville (can’t wait) so I have yet to pull out my crock pot and tackle some new fall recipes for you all but my good friend Star over at The Daily Dose of Pepper has let me share this amazing slow cooker lasagna with you. Star is so sweet and I am lucky to call her a friend.
