Cinnamon strawberry chocolate rolls

January 26, 2015

I love treating myself with simple guilt free desserts. It keeps me satisfied and not tempted to indulge on those much higher point desserts! These strawberry rolls are a really good alternative to that 10 point cake that might be sitting in front of you. 😉 They took me all of 10 minutes to make, and another 15 in the oven. They are so yummy served warm with a little whip cream, and should cure any sweet craving that might be popping up..They are only 2 points each.

Serves: 6
2pp each
  • 3 flatout flatbread wraps (I used multigrain with flax)
  • 2T cookie and cocoa swirl cookie butter (or Nutella)
  • 1.5t melted reduced calorie margarine
  • 1.5T white sugar
  • 1t cinnamon
  • Sliced fresh strawberries
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Using a pizza cutter, cut the ends of the flatbread so your left with more of a rectangle piece, then cut that into 2 strips.
  3. Spread 1 teaspoon of cookie butter at the end of the bread, then top with sliced strawberries.
  4. Roll up your bread and using a pastry brush coat with your melted margarine.
  5. Shake your sugar and cinnamon together in a little bag and then pour onto a flat plate. Roll your wrap around in the sugar mix coating it.
  6. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Checking often so the strawberries don't burst out.
  7. Serve warm with fresh strawberries and whip cream. Each roll is 2pp
