I love baking loaves in the fall, they go so good with a cup of tea 🙂 I usually try to keep them to 3 points plus per slice but this banana chocolate chip loaf is so worth the 4 points! It makes 10 nice size portions and is so nice served warm.
Banana chocolate chip loaf
4sp or 4pp per slice
Ingredients
- 2 cups white flour
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- ½ t baking soda
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 mashed banana's
- 1 egg and 1 egg white
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix dry ingredients together and then add wet, fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour into sprayed large loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.. Yields 10 slices at 4 smart points or 4 points plus each.
- Store in a sealed container in the fridge for best results.

Hey there 🙂 been trying 2 of your receipes per week this last month and i loove it! Have you ever tried Robinhood Nutri flour? Looks the same and tastes the same as white flour, but 3 times the fiber and only 2pp or sp!
