So you might of guessed by now that I like to make pasta bake casseroles. 🙂 I just find they make a great simple and quick meal that the whole family can enjoy. This bacon cheeseburger one is no exception, I mean who doesn't enjoy a bacon cheeseburger! 😉 It really is simple to put together and only 8 smart points per serving.

This looks like a wonderful and easy dish to make. I noticed you stated that you measure your pasta uncooked. How much uncooked pasta is needed to make the two cups cooked? Thank you. 🙂
Drizzle
Hi Nancy.. I measured 2 cups of uncooked pasta ..its about the same once its cooked.. don't worry about how much it is once its cooked, just measure out 2 cups and cook it 🙂
Drizzle
I've changed the wording a bit in the recipe so its not as confusing 😉 Hope you enjoy

You say 6 servings, but is it 1cup a piece or what? So much easier is you know a measurement.
Drizzle
Hi, I wouldn't say it's easier, I use a 9x13 casserole dish and get 6 servings out of it, I think most can judge 6 equal servings..
Melanie
What does 8pp per serving mean? I'm assuming it has something to do with Weight Watchers, but how does that translate to calories/fat?
Drizzle
Hi.. pp stands for points plus, yes a weight watchers term.. As of yet I have not included nutritional info on my recipes, being that they are all WW recipes I have just focused on points..I know it's something I need to do in the future but it is very time consuming and I have just been focusing on points while trying to maintain the blog and my busy life 😉
Jeanne
there are apps to do nutritional counts. I have used them but never research how true they are though.

I use My Fitness Pal for all my nutritional info

Looks delish! Think I could half it for an 8x8? Thanks!
Drizzle
Hi, you could half it but in a 8x8 it is not really half.. so it might just be a little thinner than usual if that makes sense lol 😉

You say lean ground beef do you know it its 93/7 or 85/15 beef ?
Drizzle
Hi there, I think the beef I buy is a 92/8, hope that helps..

OK Drizzle~ My husband and I give this recipe four hands up. Not just thumbs, the whole hand. It is so good, I portioned it and I am going to have to freeze a portion for myself or my husband may it all the left overs. Definitely a keeper. Thanks and keep 'em comin'.
Drizzle
Ha!! I will take four hands up!! 🙂 So glad you both enjoy it, and it makes great leftovers.. tell hubby hands off lol..

I LOVE this recipe. If I wanted to take this recipe and make it into a lettuce wrap, do you know what the points are for the recipe, minus the pasta? Thank you! LOVE your recipes 🙂
Drizzle
Hi Allison, glad your enjoying the recipe, sorry no I am not too sure, I only figured it out with the pasta
Blair Hailey
If you subbed 0-pt turkey, any idea how that might change the points? Thanks!
Drizzle
I can tell you there is 15SP in the pound of ground beef, so maybe do the math from there
