To top it off, they could not be any easier to make. One delicious fried banana roll is just five Weight Watchers points, and they’re worth every point.

Three reasons why you need to make this recipe!

A delicious, sweet but healthy treat you can enjoy any day of the week?!

That should be reason enough! But like I said previously, they are very easy to make. You can whip these up for your kids too, for an after school treat.

Not only are you indulging in a sweet treat, you’re fueling your body while you’re at it.

Due to the delicious Flatout wraps, you’re getting a good dose of protein and fiber. Why not fuel your body well when having a fun treat when it can be this good?

Fried Banana Rolls are just six ingredients.

Not only are these delicious and healthy, they don’t need a long list of ingredients. You probably already have most of the ingredients on hand.

Ingredients you need to make Fried Banana Rolls:

  • 1 Flatout original (I used multigrain with flax)
  • Egg whites for brushing bread
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tablespoon Smuckers sugar-free caramel topping
  • *Optional to top with some light Cool Whip or reduced calories ice cream

How to make Fried Banana Rolls (step by step):

  1. Spray a medium frying pan well with some nonstick cooking spray and let it heat up over medium heat on the stove.
  2. Cut the Flatout bread in half, and then cut the banana in half. Roll the banana up in the wrap.
  3. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and spread it out on a flat plate.
  4. Brush the banana rolls with egg whites, coating them well.
  5. Roll the banana rolls in the sugar mix, coating all areas. Make sure you use up all of the sugar mix.
  6. Once the pan has heated well, add a little more nonstick cooking spray and then place the rolls in the pan. They only need to cook for a few minutes on each side.
  7. Once all sides are browned, drizzle the rolls with the sugar free caramel topping.
  8. Makes 2 rolls. Enjoy!

Different ways to change up this recipe:

  • I suggest making a movie night or date night out of these! Place a freshly fried banana roll in a bowl, top it with the caramel drizzle, a little bit of light cool whip, and you’ve got a fun delicious dessert without any guilt.
  • Add a few Lily’s No Sugar Added chocolate chips either in the rolls or on top of the rolls for a fun chocolate twist.
  • Make a strawberry banana version by cutting the bananas into small sections and alternating them with sliced strawberries.

Tips and Tricks for Making Fried Banana Rolls:

  • If the sugar free caramel topping is hard to drizzle, I suggest putting it in a zip lock bag and cutting a small tip on the corner. It will drizzle easily this way.
  • Fried banana rolls don’t keep well, so I suggest making them right before you’re ready to eat them. They don’t freeze well either.

Is it 4 SP for the whole banana and flatbread if you don’t cut it in half?
